Dining at The Plough

sharer“Social Dining” is our vision for the output of The Plough’s kitchen, with quality and value given equal priority. Our ideas are very much in the planning stage but we are aiming for food that is easy, casual, and of high quality. British dishes will sit alongside more cosmopolitan ones, and it will be as comfortable to order some interesting, innovative nibbles to accompany your early evening drink, as it will to indulge in something more substantial.

sangerMid-week lunches are important, and we aim to offer choices ranging from the very simple, inexpensive (and quick) for those on a restricted lunch break, to something rather more elaborate for those with a little more time on their hands.

Roasty

Sunday lunchtime is a favourite occasion for relaxing with family and friends, and The Plough will offer high quality, good value, traditional meals, alongside more unexpected choices, and carefully designed dishes for our younger diners.  When weather permits, visitors will be able to order a Plough Picnic Basket and head for our Outdoor Spaces.

We aim to offer fine coffee and easy snacks throughout the day, making The Plough a great place to meet at any time. We plan ultimately to also open for breakfast once our kitchen is properly established.
